Yukon Public Schools Substitute Teacher Workshops 
2013 - 2014 

Yukon Public Schools has scheduled workshops to train substitutes for the 2013 - 2014 school year. These workshops will be held at the Yukon Administration building, 600 Maple Street from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. Substitutes must be 21 years old. No reservations are needed.

Individuals interested in substituting will need to bring two forms of ID (social security card and driver’s license or birth certificate).  If you are a certified teacher, we will need to make a copy of your certificate.

A national criminal history record check and fingerprinting are required by the State of Oklahoma as of July 1, 2010, and must be updated annually (unless otherwise noted; a $59 fee).   You will be given instructions and directions on how to obtain your criminal history record at the State Department of Education.

 All applicants are required to stay for the entire training period. The training will begin promptly at the scheduled times. We request that no children be brought to the trainings. 

 Anyone interested in substituting must attend the workshop before substituting in Yukon Public Schools. You do not need to pre-register for the workshops.
